Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum + Monthly Car Allowance + Commission

Location: Antrim ( Hybrid working Available)

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development / Account Manager to join a growing I.T organisation, acting as the primary liaison between the business and key enterprise and SME clients across multiple industry sectors.

This role is split approximately 50% Account Management and 50% Business Development, focused on managing and growing strategic client relationships while also identifying and converting new business opportunities. You will play a key role in driving sustainable revenue growth and ensuring the successful delivery of IT and security solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management (Approx. 50%)

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with enterprise and strategic clients
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue, margin, and retention targets
  • Identify and deliver upsell and cross-sell opportunities across all products and services
  • Manage pipeline forecasting, revenue performance, and account profitability
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions
  • Monitor account performance and report KPIs and client health metrics
  • Act as the escalation point for key client issues and ensure effective resolution
  • Provide client insights to support product and service improvement initiatives

Business Development (Approx. 50%)

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target sectors
  • Build new pipeline through networking, referrals, outreach, and marketing campaigns
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and technical requirements
  • Work with technical teams to develop value-driven solutions and proposals
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from engagement through to contract close
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and forecasting

About You

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Account Management and Business Development, ideally the I.T or Technology sector.
  • Strong relationship-building and commercial negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and managing key strategic accounts
  • Highly organised with strong forecasting and pipeline management capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
