Junior IT Support

We are looking for an Junior IT Support to join our IT team at Head Office.

This role is ideal for someone at the start of their IT career. Previous IT experience is not essential; what matters most is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, reliability, the ability to work under pressure, strong problem-solving skills, good organisational and time management skills, and clear, effective communication.

You will act as the first point of contact for IT support, supporting colleagues across Head Office and restaurant locations, while working closely with external contractors and third-party support providers to help resolve IT issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • First-line end-user Support for all IT systems. This includes end-user systems, general hardware and infrastructure(familiar with Dell/HP/Lenovo), local and wide area networking, enterprise business applications, MiCloud IP phone systems, Windows Server Active Directory, CCTV, cyber security, EPOS, alarm system, and other technologies as required.
  • Resolution of issues where possible or assignment and escalation to external support companies when appropriate.
  • Routine administration and housekeeping tasks as required within the IT Department.
  • Provide IT support to colleagues at their desks and remotely.
  • Assisting with project work and undertaking smaller independent projects when required.
  • Must have flexibility/willingness to work on-call hours (both weekday and weekend).
  • Ideally, some software development knowledge (SharePoint, Python, Java or Kotlin) as down the line there will be specifically related projects.
  • Assist with writing of end user and IT documentation as required.
  • Role-based at Headquarters in High Barnet with occasional site visits across UK/Ireland
  • To assist with proactively identifying issues and projects that could improve the resiliency and efficiency of all technical systems.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to self-manage, organise and prioritise tasks, and work effectively under pressure during troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Professional, flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle the demands of a highly user-focused IT support role
  • Basic understanding or interest in general desktop support (PC hardware, printers, copiers, interactive whiteboards, projectors, CCTV, EPOS, phone systems, WiFi, MDM, sound systems, etc.)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
