Director of Analytics - Performance

A fast-scaling Betting Organisation is looking for a Director of Analytics - Performance to lead its UK analytics and commercial intelligence function. This is a rare opportunity to shape how data drives decision-making across a dynamic, consumer-facing business .This role is based in Leeds and requires you to be there 2/3 days a week. You'll be at the forefront of building a high-impact analytics capability, working across product, marketing, operations, and finance to unlock growth opportunities, improve customer experience, and optimise performance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build & Lead a UK-based analytics team focused on commercial performance, customer behaviour, and operational efficiency.
• Define Strategy for how data is used across the business to inform decisions, improve outcomes, and drive innovation.
• Deliver Insights that influence everything from acquisition and retention to product development and campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally with senior stakeholders to ensure analytics are embedded into daily operations and long-term planning.
• Develop Tools & Dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key metrics and business performance.
• Champion Innovation by identifying opportunities for AI, machine learning, and predictive modelling to enhance customer experience and business outcomes.

What You'll Bring

• Senior-level experience in analytics leadership within digital-first industries, ideally gaming, betting, or entertainment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link data to business strategy and performance.
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing analytics teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with modern data tools and environments (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Snowflake, etc.).
