HR Advisor

Leatherhead | Hybrid working – 2 days office / 3 days from home

Up to £40,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits

Our client is a rapidly growing technology company with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and customer excellence. They are now seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team and play a key role in delivering a positive, consistent, and engaging employee experience.

This is a broad generalist role, ideal for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with managers, providing pragmatic HR advice, and supporting the full employee lifecycle within a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process in partnership with external recruitment and screening providers
  • Ensure a smooth, engaging, and compliant candidate and new starter experience

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, delivering day-to-day operational HR activities
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and processes are applied consistently and in line with best practice

Employee Relations

  • Manage end-to-end employee relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, and other statutory processes
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date advice to managers on employment law and HR best practice
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes

Training & Development

  • Coordinate training provision across the organisation
  • Work with managers to identify skills gaps and development needs
  • Source and manage appropriate training solutions

Engagement & Culture

  • Support initiatives that embed organisational values and promote employee engagement
  • Contribute to projects that enhance culture, communication, and ways of working
About You
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience operating at HR Advisor level in a similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage sensitive matters with discretion
  • Experience using an HR Information System (HRIS)
