Financial Accountant

Our client is a growing £45m turnover leading cloud, security and wireless IT technology distributor who seek to hire a Financial Accountant. The role will suit a progressive ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-newly qualified Accountant looking for a broad and exciting opportunity. This role involves preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting internal and external audits. The Financial Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data, analysing financial performance, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate journal entries
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings
• Perform Shipping Reconciliations
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Monitor and improve financial controls and processes
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Oversee Credit Control Function
• Oversee Purchase Ledger Function

A salary of £45,000-£50,000 is on offer plus study support and great benefits.
