Frontend Developer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Frontend Developer with strong React and modern web development experience to join a global, technology business. The engineering team is currently delivering a major migration of its frontend applications to a more modern, high-performance, and user-focused web architecture, making this a great time to join.

In this role, you'll contribute to the development of React-based web applications, working closely with a collaborative engineering team to deliver high-quality user experiences while supporting ongoing architectural improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build modern web applications using React and TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on UX and clean UI design
Collaborate closely with engineers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and help shape how the platform evolves
Ensure frontend applications are secure, scalable, and performant, both now and as the product grows

Essential Skills & Experience

4+ years of commercial experience working with React and TypeScript
Commercial experience integrating with RESTful APIs
Strong understanding of modern frontend development best practices

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience with modern frontend tooling and state management (e.g. Redux, TanStack Query)
An eye for UX design and building polished, user-centric interfaces
Experience working on large or evolving codebases

The Leeds office is based in the city centre. The team values collaboration, quality engineering, and knowledge sharing. This role requires 4 days per week on-site to support close teamwork and delivery.
