Senior Legal Technologist - Document Lifecycle
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, creative and experienced Senior Legal Technologist to join the Document Lifecycle Pillar within the Innovation & Legal Technology team. The successful candidate will have previous experience of document automation for both internal and external clients, along with knowledge and understanding of the latest technologies and their impact on the drafting process.
What You’ll Do:
Supported with the appropriate training and guidance required, your key responsibilities will be:
- Reporting to and supporting the Senior Manager with the delivery of drafting-related projects across the business, with a leading role in client delivery.
- Providing technical expertise in the creation of new document automation solutions and acting as a go-to person for automation queries.
- Designing and implementing automated document assembly solutions.
- Providing expertise for data gathering and analysis within documents.
- Working with the team to ensure best-in-class generative AI tools are used effectively for drafting and providing insights into the future of drafting.
Who We’re Looking For:
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent education or experience.
- Significant relevant experience delivering legal technology projects within a global law firm or professional services environment.
- A strong, demonstrable understanding of legal technology software, with applied experience configuring automation tools such as Contract Express, Office & Dragons, Clarilis, and HighQ.
- A strong understanding of additional tools including generative AI technologies, SharePoint, PowerBI, the Microsoft stack, and other tools that support drafting programmes (desirable).
