IT Support Apprentice (ProperGeeks Ltd)

The role will entail troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows and Mac-based personal computers and devices, diagnosing and repairing those issues and communicating with our domestic and business customers in order to maintain our excellent customer service standards and to ensure healthily and on-target margins. The role is customer facing and will also involve sales of our retail hardware stock, computer accessories and printer ink.

Customer service experience is also desirable but most of all, we're looking for somebody competent and professional who can work as part of a small, dedicated team committed to delivering excellent service in everything that we do.

Duties and key responsibilities

• Diagnosing failure with Windows and Mac personal computerised devices
• Selling our range of hardware, software, printer ink and accessories
• Dealing with customers over-the-phone and in person
• Repairing software and hardware issues on Mac and Windows operating systems
• Operating our sales / repair / accounts package to ensure correct system compliance

• 5 GCSE's including English and Maths GCSE, grade (A*-C/9-4 or equivalent) (Essential)
