  • Oversee all works under the Permit to Work system, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Respond swiftly to Building Management System (BMS) alarms and manage incidents in real time.
  • Maintain mechanical and electrical systems (including cooling, power, and water) to industry standards such as L8.
  • Supervise vendors and subcontractors to ensure high performance and adherence to operational processes.
  • Drive technical training, mentoring, and team development.
  • Lead from the front — ensuring the safety, reliability, and resilience of critical infrastructure always.

About You

  • A Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge of critical environments such as data centres, hospitals, or financial facilities.
  • Proven ability to lead shift teams and manage incident response in real time.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Wiring Regulations, health and safety compliance, and permit-to-work systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
  • A proactive approach to safety, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
