Technical Project Manager (Network)

Technical Project Manager – Hybrid – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex network infrastructure projects within a fast-paced retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong project manager who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of network and infrastructure projects, from initiation through to handover
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting in line with PRINCE2 methodologies
  • Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, and network engineers to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Oversee deployment, upgrade, and migration of network solutions, primarily using Cisco technologies
  • Ensure projects align with ITIL service management practices and operational readiness
  • Communicate effectively with retail business stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations
  • Maintain clear documentation, governance, and change control throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience delivering network-focused projects in a technical project management role
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco products and network technologies
  • Solid understanding and practical application of PRINCE2 and ITIL frameworks
  • Experience working within the retail sector, ideally supporting multi-site or store-based environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

Desirable Qualifications

  • CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (highly desirable)
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
  • ITIL Foundation or higher
