Senior SAP PM
The role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a high-profile SAP migration project with a significant budget of approximately £5M+. This critical initiative involves migrating from SAP ECC6, which will become obsolete next year, to SAP ECP SuccessFactors for payroll. The successful candidate will ensure seamless delivery of this transformation, manage complex stakeholder relationships and driving the project to completion within scope, time, and budget.

The successful candidate will ensure seamless delivery of this transformation, manage complex stakeholder relationships and driving the project to completion within scope, time, and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of the SAP migration project, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with governance frameworks.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Oversee and control a £5M budget, ensuring cost efficiency and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage relationships across HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; resolve issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
- Coordinate with SAP and implementation partners to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Drive adoption strategies, training, and communication plans to support business readiness.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, data security standards, and best practices.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale SAP migration projects (preferably payroll-related).
- Strong understanding of SAP ECC6 and SAP SuccessFactors (ECP).
- Experience managing budgets of £5M+ and complex multi-stakeholder environments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in project governance, risk management, and change management.
- Familiarity with HR and payroll processes within enterprise environments.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are highly desirable.
- Previous experience in high-profile, business-critical projects within large organisations.
- Experience in cloud-based HR/payroll solutions.
- Knowledge of data migration strategies and integration with third-party systems.
