Location: Hybrid - Warwick Technology Park / Remote Grade: Level 7 (Operations & Engineering Career Family)Reporting to: Business Systems Manager - Digital Engineering

The Role

We are seeking a proactive Business Analyst to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives within a nationally critical energy infrastructure environment. This role will play a key part in delivering the Digital Construction & Investment (DC&I) programme, helping modernise how major engineering and capital investment programmes are planned, delivered, and governed.

You will work across engineering, asset management, IT, and delivery teams to translate business needs into effective, user-focused technical solutions, enabling efficient workflows, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement in a safety-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

  • Lead elicitation and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and user engagement.
  • Produce high-quality Business Requirement Documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support DC&I drop-in sessions, workshops, and training, providing structured playback of user needs and system capabilities.

Process Improvement

  • Map end-to-end engineering and delivery processes, identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend process optimisation and automation aligned to capital delivery and asset lifecycle management.
  • Maintain strong understanding of user groups, personas, and role structures within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Support training needs analysis informed by process and user insights.

Data & Reporting

  • Analyse operational and utilisation data to identify trends, risks, and actionable insights.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Maintain high data integrity across ACC and other reporting systems.

Solution & Project Support

  • Collaborate with IT and digital engineering teams to design, validate, and implement fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Support project planning, delivery tracking, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure requirements are met.

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Act as a trusted interface between technical teams and business stakeholders across engineering and investment functions.
  • Communicate insights, recommendations, and progress clearly at all levels.
  • Support change implementation through user training, onboarding, SOPs, FAQs, and practical product guidance.
  • Partner with Change Managers to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in process mapping and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools.
  • Experience supporting workshops, training, and user adoption activities.
  • Understanding of change management principles within complex operational environments.
  • Proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude, able to take initiative and drive actions to completion.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within energy, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or construction-led organisations.
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or other Common Data Environments (CDEs).
  • Exposure to ISO 19650 standards, BIM workflows, or regulated delivery environments.
