About the Role

As a Domain Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in our technology team supporting Global Transaction Services (GTS). Your expertise will drive transformation programs across payments, credit, trade finance, loans, and customer accounting. You will engage with stakeholders to capture requirements, assess impact, and develop high-level designs that meet regulatory demands and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and articulate problem statements.
  • Assess the scope of change and its impact on technology, operations, and supporting functions.
  • Liaise between business units, technology teams, and delivery teams to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Document functional requirements and identify impacts on current functionality.
  • Create end-to-end High-Level Designs for GTS EMEA projects in corporate banking.
  • Conduct walkthroughs for requirement assessments with stakeholders and governance committees.
  • Support delivery teams throughout the agile project lifecycle.
  • Engage with the business to determine concept designs and project estimates, providing technology guidance.
  • Review project designs for adherence to organizational standards and technology stacks.
  • Set technology strategy and design standards for the department in collaboration with enterprise architecture.
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality outcomes and report regularly to senior management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in designing solutions for corporate banking, including payments, client liquidity, trade finance, loans, and virtual account management.
  • Strong understanding of payment schemes (UK & EU) and cross-border payments.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and regulatory projects, with a solid grasp of banking regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in application design across multiple technology platforms.
  • Extensive technical and data analysis experience with varied architectures.
  • Proven track record in vendor selection and integration within technology environments.
  • Experience providing technology leadership to both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Ability to define end-to-end solution architecture, including interfacing patterns and technology.
  • Good understanding of non-functional requirements and solution development.
  • Experience with Agile project methodologies.
  • TOGAF certification.
  • Background in banking application design and development.
