Technical Process Lead

About the RoleWe are looking for a Technical Process Lead to support and manage technical processes, documentation and SOPs across multiple sites within a busy Tech Suite environment. This is a hands-on, mixed technical and operational role where you’ll be testing client SOPs, supporting global teams, and helping to ensure devices and orders are prepared and dispatched accurately and on time.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who is technically minded, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable working with both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Test and validate technical SOPs issued by clients to ensure they work as intended.
- Liaise with clients and partners to resolve technical process issues.
- Keep all technical documentation and SOPs up to date and correctly version-controlled.
- Ensure all sites are working from the correct SOPs for each client.
- Provide SOP and technical process training and support to global site teams.
- Work with global technical support colleagues to maintain consistent standards.
- Assist with the technical setup of new locations and deployments.
- Prepare devices for dispatch (e.g. laptop provisioning, imaging, labelling).
- Process returned devices and update records accordingly.
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders in line with agreed turnaround targets.
- Receive deliveries, check quantities and keep storage areas tidy and organised.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow Health & Safety procedures.
- Support general Tech Suite operations and be adaptable to changing priorities.
- GCSE-level education.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Any knowledge of Intune and Microsoft technologies/courses is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Flexible, willing to learn and take on new skills and processes.
- Physically able to carry out regular light–medium–heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
