Network Engineer
Inside IR35 – Hybrid
We’re seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a leading organisation in Birmingham on a contract basis. You’ll be responsible for the design, support, and optimisation of a hybrid network infrastructure, covering both on-premise and cloud environments.
This role suits a hands-on networking professional with strong experience in enterprise networking, infrastructure troubleshooting, and network optimisation, with an awareness of security best practices rather than a pure security focus.
Key Responsibilities-
Design, support, and maintain network infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.

Manage and optimise switching, routing, firewalls, and VPN technologies.

Troubleshoot complex network issues to ensure high availability and performance.

Support Windows Server environments from a networking perspective (DNS, DHCP, connectivity).
