We are seeking an experienced O365 Engineer to support and deliver a large-scale programme of modernisation, integration, and consolidation of enterprise messaging, collaboration, and e-Discovery platforms using Microsoft Office 365 technologies.

This role will act as a subject matter expert, providing specialist engineering support across O365 services, with a strong focus on Microsoft Teams (video and voice), Exchange, compliance tooling, and platform stability in a global enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and support Microsoft Teams video and voice services across BYOD and corporate desktops

  • Provide project support for Office 365, Exchange, and voice migrations

  • Maintain, patch, and support Exchange and O365 infrastructure

  • Deliver O365 services through hands-on engineering and systems administration, including high availability and disaster recovery

  • Manage incidents and problems, performing root cause analysis through to resolution

  • Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and operational documentation

  • Ensure a stable, secure, and compliant O365 platform aligned to agreed SLAs

  • Support O365 voice recording migrations in line with project requirements

  • Install, test, and support new versions of system software with fallback and contingency planning

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for messaging and Microsoft Teams telephony services

  • Contribute to O365 product life cycle management and technical roadmaps for messaging, collaboration, and e-Discovery services

Essential Technical Skills
  • Subject Matter Expert in Microsoft messaging technologies (Exchange/Office 365)

  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Teams, including video and voice

  • Strong experience with e-Discovery, compliance, and archiving tools (eg Enterprise Vault, Compliance Accelerator, Discovery Accelerator, Clearwell)

  • Microsoft Intune/MDM

  • Active Directory, ADFS, federation, and hybrid services

  • Microsoft Server technologies

  • PowerShell Scripting and automation/orchestration

  • Proven experience in design, migration, integration, and implementation of O365 technologies

Professional Experience
  • Demonstrable experience providing Office 365 support to 3rd line level

  • Strong background in O365, e-Discovery, and compliance implementations and migrations within a global, multi-site organisation

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams telephony integration

  • Experience resolving complex Exchange performance and messaging issues

  • Ability to interface effectively with business users, management, third-party vendors, and support teams

  • Strong communication skills, comfortable operating within a global organisation

Desirable Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large user bases (circa 20,000 users)

  • Degree-level qualification or relevant technical certification (eg MCSE Messaging, MCSA)
