We are recruiting for an experienced SCO91-qualified Mains Layer to deliver a 1-mile installation of fire water mains at the Bacton Gas Terminal. This is a high-value contract requiring precision, safety, and expertise in Electro Fusion or Butt Fusion welding. Key Responsibilities:

• Lay and install 1 mile of fire water mains in accordance with SCO91 procedures.
• Carry out Electro Fusion and/ or Butt Fusion welding to industry standards.
• Ensure all work complies with gas safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site teams to meet project milestones.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials used. Requirements:
  • Valid SCO91 certification (National Gas)
  • Extensive experience in Electro Fusion or Butt Fusion welding.
  • Demonstrable experience laying mains on gas infrastructure projects.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Flexibility to work up to 7 days a week, if you desire. Contract Details:
    • Duration: Initial contract with potential for extension.
    • Rate: £500/ day (Ltd or Umbrella).
    • Hours: Flexible - 7 days/ week available.
