My client, a global technology-driven service company operating primarily in the financial sector is looking to hire a Backend Developer to help build and maintain backend services for their global platform. You will develop and maintain server-side logic and API’s for web and mobile applications. You will also collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-friendly elements and assist in database design, development and optimisation. As a Backend Developer, you will contribute to bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in Backend development with a focus on Java and Spring Frameworks or similar backend frameworks. You will also possess knowledge of RESTful API design and knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. This role would suit a Backend Developer who is keen to join a strong software engineering function to continue their career focussing on good software practices working on a global platform with tons of exposure.
