Junior / Mid-Level Software Developer*

We’re partnering with a well-established UK software company building modern, cloud-based SaaS platforms used by large, trusted organisations. The business has been recognised multiple times as a Great Place to Work and is known for its strong engineering culture and positive team environment.

Due to growth, they are expanding their web development team and are looking for a Software Developer to help design, build, and support scalable web applications.

The Role
  • Work as part of a collaborative Agile scrum team, delivering frequent, high-quality releases.
  • Design, build, and maintain web applications using C#, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
  • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including design, estimation, implementation, testing, and code reviews.
  • Champion high standards of code quality, testing, and maintainability.
  • Provide 3rd-line support for the applications you help develop.
  • Operate in a hybrid working model, attending the Letchworth office at least once per week.
Required Experience
  • Commercial experience in two or more of the following areas:
  • React and modern front-end development
  • TypeScript / JavaScript
  • GraphQL and/or RESTful APIs
  • C#
  • SQL / PostgreSQL
  • Multi-user server-side applications
  • A proactive approach to code reviews, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong commitment to automated testing and software quality.
  • Ability to meet UK SC clearance requirements.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working with Git and shared codebases.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • SaaS development and deployment experience using Azure or similar cloud platforms.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Interest in using AI tools to support development and productivity.
