ERP Project Manager – 18 Month FTC (Essex) Are you an experienced ERP Project Manager looking for a role where you can lead a major business wide transformation. With exceptionally low staff turnover and a collaborative atmosphere, this is a place where people stay because they feel valued and supported.The Opportunity The organisation is preparing to migrate to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and you will take full ownership of the project from planning through to delivery. This is a hands on role where you will work closely with the Finance Director, HR, Operations, and external IT partners to ensure a smooth and successful transition.You will be highly visible across the business, working directly with teams in sales, finance and operations .Many colleagues are used to long standing processes, so your ability to build trust, reduce nervousness, and support adoption will be crucial.What Makes This Role Appealing•     A supportive, friendly culture with very low staff turnover•     A relaxed, non pressurised working environment•     A leadership team committed to modernising systems and processes•     Opportunities to support future system developments, including HR technology•     Potential for extension or a longer term role as the business continues its transformation What You’ll Be Doing Project Leadership•     Lead the full migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central•     Develop and manage the project plan, scope, budget, and timeline•     Work closely with the Finance Director on governance, reporting, and decision making Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management•     Build trust with teams who may be cautious about change•     Bring diplomacy, confidence, and resilience to navigate resistance•     Ensure business readiness, training, and adoption across all departments Technical Delivery•     Oversee data migration, testing, integration, and configuration•     Manage UAT and go live planning•     Liaise with external IT consultants•     Support future system improvements, including HR system development About You We’re looking for someone who combines technical capability with strong interpersonal presence.You will be:•     Experienced in delivering ERP or major IT upgrade projects (ideally Microsoft Dynamics)•     Confident working with NAV and/or D365 Business Central•     Skilled in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and vendor coordination•     A strong communicator who can hold your own with senior stakeholders•     Hands on, practical, and comfortable working alongside transactional teams•     Diplomatic, resilient, and able to build trust with a younger workforce•     Someone with maturity, presence, and the ability to bring calm and structure. You need to be visible, approachable, and confident.The Practical Details•     18 month Fixed Term Contract (potential to extend)•     Office based in Essex•     Free parking •     Reporting to the Finance Director•     Start date: ASAP
