The Data Analyst Specialist manages the end-to-end handling, integrity, and availability of operational and sales data for Sales and Account Management teams. Working closely with the Head of Sales Operations, the role focuses on execution and operates with high autonomy. It is responsible for data operations, system readiness, and quality controls that ensure Sales teams can work efficiently and confidently.
The position delivers accurate data processes, consistent reporting, and reliable operational systems. It centres on data execution, analysis, and interpretation, providing stakeholders with dependable data and meaningful performance insights. Strategic decisions, commercial ownership, and business process design fall outside the scope of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Work-flow management for all relevant sales and vendor data
- System data preparation
- Data management – ownership of the relevant area of data
- Campaign data preparation
- Process vendor data files and import data into CRM requesting ad-hoc refreshes
- Fulfil requests for sales data changes within the system
- Identify and escalate risk or failures
- Providing insight to key stakeholders
This role is perfect for someone who:
- Can translate large data into business insight
- Has strong experience working with large datasets in operational environments
- Has an exceptional level of System and computer literacy (CRM experience preferred)
- Is able to manage multiple data processes simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Is comfortable working independently within defined processes and controls
- Has excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally throughout the business
- Is able to explain data issues and constraints in a practical, non-technical way
- Has the ability to work as part of a Sales Operations team and under own initiative senior-level capability
- Has demonstrated ability to operate as a subject matter expert for operational and sales data
- Has confidence making data quality and prioritisation decisions with minimal supervision
- Embraces the trust to manage business-critical data processes independently
Entry requirements:
Standard entry:
- Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
- OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)
Plus:
- 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
- Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
