Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Salary: Circa 50k
Position Overview
We are seeking an Anaplan Analyst to join our team. The Anaplan Analyst will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and maintenance of Anaplan models that drive business planning, forecasting, and performance reporting. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that planning solutions are scalable, accurate, and deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for planning and reporting needs.
- Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models, modules, lists, hierarchies, and formulas in alignment with best practices.
- Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, and workflows in Anaplan to support decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy by validating, reconciling, and integrating data from source systems.
- Support business users by providing training, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements in Anaplan.
- Participate in scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to implement and maintain system integrations.
- Document processes, model designs, and enhancements to support governance and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, financial planning, data modeling, or related areas.
- Hands-on experience with Anaplan (Anaplan Level 1/2 Model Builder certification preferred).
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; SQL or data integration experience a plus.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of FP&A, supply chain, workforce, or sales planning processes.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Familiarity with ETL tools, APIs, or middleware for system integrations.
- Anaplan Solution Architect certification (a plus for senior roles).
