Job Summary

RN Digital World is looking for a proactive, confident Field Sales Representative (commission only) to help us grow our client base across London and surrounding areas. You'll be out meeting business owners and decision-makers, identifying pain points, and selling practical solutions across Managed IT Services, cybersecurity, cloud backup & disaster recovery, WiFi/network infrastructure (Cisco Meraki), surveillance systems, and Square ePOS solutions.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys face-to-face selling, can build trust fast, and wants uncapped earning potential by closing deals that genuinely help SMEs run better and stay secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business through networking, local outreach, referrals, cold calling, and visiting businesses in your territory.
  • Book and attend field appointments with SME owners/managers to understand their current setup and challenges (IT support, security, WiFi, backups, ePOS, etc.).
  • Present RN Digital World services clearly and confidently, tailoring proposals around the client's needs (bespoke solutions, flat-rate approach, no hidden fees).
  • Sell and close managed IT support agreements, cybersecurity services, cloud backup/disaster recovery solutions, WiFi upgrades (including Cisco Meraki), surveillance installations, and Square ePOS setups.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage renewals, upsells, and referrals.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure smooth onboarding, installation scheduling, and service delivery once a deal is closed.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records (leads, meetings, pipeline, outcomes, notes) using CRM/tools provided.
  • Represent RN Digital World professionally at local business events, networking groups, and relevant trade/community events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales (field sales, business development, account management, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the confidence to lead meetings and handle objections.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally for client visits.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft tools (or equivalent), and basic IT platforms.
  • Highly organised, able to manage your own diary, follow-ups, and pipeline.
  • Professional, trustworthy, and customer-focused—able to build rapport quickly with SME decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a commission-only structure.

Compensation

Commission only (uncapped) — paid per closed deal and/or recurring contracts (structure to be agreed).
