Project Manager II, AI Database DevRel

Location: Remote Contract: Fixed-term / Contract (details flexible)Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)Pay: Competitive / Negotiable

We are looking for an experienced DevRel Project Manager - AI Database to lead cross-functional developer relations initiatives that accelerate adoption of AI database technologies.

In this role, you will coordinate technical events, content production, and community-driven initiatives, ensuring delivery of high-impact resources such as RAG demos, vector search tutorials, and developer enablement assets. You will focus on project timelines, risk management, and stakeholder alignment while tracking progress against defined growth and engagement targets.

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for DevRel activations, including Tech Days, hackathons, and community initiatives

• Apply Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies using tools such as Jira to manage timelines, dependencies, and risks

• Coordinate closely with developer advocates, engineers, content creators, and external partners

• Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and delivery milestones across AI database campaigns

• Ensure all deliverables (e.g. demo assets, GitHub repositories, video content) meet security, compliance, and quality standards

• Support the planning and execution of externally facing events, including logistics, attendee engagement metrics, and post-event analysis

• Track and report on delivery progress, adoption metrics, and campaign impact

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

• 5+ years' experience in project management, ideally within technology, DevRel, platform, or AI-focused environments

• Strong working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery frameworks

• Excellent analytical, organisational, and stakeholder communication skills

• Experience working with global, distributed, or remote teams

• Familiarity with technical events, developer communities, and metrics tracking is highly desirable
