Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Cyber Security

Location: Flexible - but ideally based in Norwich, London, Bristol or York

Length of Contract: 12 Month FTC

Salary: £80-90k PA

Overview

Part of the Global Cyber Change team, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery, applying a fit-for-purpose application of IT & Change toolkit to support timely business outcomes and quality of project goals and milestones. This involves providing appropriate governance and reporting to manage global third-party supplier deliverables and stakeholder expectations. Successful delivery against the Cyber Risk and Security framework business protection controls enables the organisation to keep Customers, Employees, their Data, and the Business secure.

The Cyber Change team is highly motivated, energetic, and visible to Senior Management. It is split across four key locations (Norwich, London, Bristol, York) but is responsible for global deliveries across the organisation's markets. Cyber Security is a key component within all organisations. This role is for a motivated individual who enjoys a variety of assignments, is keen on developing their security knowledge, and possesses strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and govern business solutions while balancing time, cost, and quality.
  • Ensure risks and issues are managed, escalated, and resolved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the business and key stakeholders.
  • Effectively control external resources and suppliers.
  • Deploy appropriate IT & Change toolkit to ensure quality and timely delivery, operating within the appropriate standards.
  • Lead the delivery of solutions that support and enhance the IT architecture.
  • Engage with Service and release management for the provision of controlled environments.
  • Manage the Quality of the IT Delivery Approach.
  • Safeguard system assets, ensuring short-term delivery objectives do not compromise longer-term strategy and system integrity.
  • Be fully accountable for actions and decisions taken within the project structure.

Essential Skills & Experience Required

  • Working on medium/large or complex assignments within a large-scale organisation.
  • Providing specialist business expertise for solution delivery.
  • Breadth and detailed experience of project management.
  • Management of multiple sets of suppliers and other stakeholders, including external ones.
  • Management of virtual teams to achieve delivery milestones.
  • High level knowledge of the end-to-end project lifecycle using both Agile frameworks and waterfall methodologies.
  • Understanding of the market / financial services industry and regulatory / legislation framework governing it.
  • Knowledge of the Configuration Management process and its application.
  • Knowledge of the organisation's business processes/products and industry best practices.
  • A proven background in Cyber Security is desirable but not essential.
