Mobile Field Service Engineer
Your New Role You will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer's equipment, as a Home-Based Mobile Field Engineer with a large geographical area.Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers, peers and support departments as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned.
Your Responsibilities* Troubleshooting, Diagnostic, installation, maintenance and repair of HP/Lenovo desktops & laptops.* Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications as well as IMAC work* There can be 50% + travel in any day so willingness to travel is essential* A very strong relationship with Dispatch is vital and must be sought* Maintaining and monitoring daily communication tools, Phone, Voicemail and Email* Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining updates to all respective support departments* Maintaining tools, test equipment and Company supplied Vehicle.* Adherence to all part process and procedures* Utilizing escalation and support processes to resolve service delivery issues.* Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.* The ability to lift and carry parts that can weigh up to 25 kgs.* Adherence to all employee administration and deadlines, Overtime, Expenses, Mileage Declaration.
You will Be* ONC or equivalent IT qualification, or equivalent experience* Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.* Valid driver's license and good driving record is required.* Three years' experience of diagnosing and repairing IT Equipment * Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.* Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.* Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.* Strong time management skills.* Strong communication skills* Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills* Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.
