UI Engineer

RED has a new contract opportunity for a UI Engineer to join one of our key partners for a new Digital Product Development project. The initial contract will be for 6 months with scope for extension.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid with 3 days per week on-site in Belfast.

Specific skills/experience required:

3 years of experience with professional web application development.
Strong experience with: React functional components
Typescript/JavaScript
Automated testing (integration & unit tests)
Wireframing with Figma or similar
Agile delivery
Isomorphic frameworks (eg, Next.js)
Mono-repo tooling (eg, NX, Yarn Workspaces)
Contract-first system design
AWS software solutions
Version control experience with Git and backlog management with JIRA.
Understanding of UI/UX accessibility principles.
