Business & Operations Support Administrator

We are seeking a dedicated Business & Operations Support Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial in providing efficient and effective customer service to both potential and existing institutional and personal subscriber customers. The successful candidate will also contribute to the maintenance of information on our CRM database and support sites to ensure operational processes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide efficient customer service to institutional and personal subscribers.
- Process new subscription orders and upgrades, set up payments, and ensure timely response to inquiries.
- Respond to inbound enquiries via email, telephone, or letter.
- Provide comprehensive help desk support using various platforms.
- Log technical issues via JIRA and check Salesforce orders for accuracy.
- Add licenses and administrator details to institutional records on the relevant platform.
- Be familiar with authentication methods for institutional subscribers, including IPs and OpenAthens.
- Extract and interpret usage stats and develop effective communication within and across teams.
- Maintain accurate information in the CRM, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act.
- Support other team members and undertake additional duties as directed by the BOS Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service and administration.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Knowledge of payment processing methods (Direct Debit, Credit Card, Cheque).
- Familiarity with technical support platforms and issue logging (e.g., JIRA).
- Understanding of data extraction, decryption, and file formatting for import.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing business needs.
