Data Improvement Agent

£30,000 (DOE) 3-Month FTC – Full Time (37 hours) Hybrid – Peterborough Office Monday to Friday | No weekends or bank holidays

Our client is looking for a detail-driven Data Improvement Agent to support the enhancement of key data performance metrics within the non-household market. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigative work, validating information and maintaining high data accuracy across core business systems.

The Role

You will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and improving the quality of non-household data. This includes matching records to third-party sources, investigating unclear information, and ensuring updates are accurately reflected in internal systems. You’ll work through a set list of records within defined timeframes, providing clear commentary and escalating issues when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and improve the accuracy of non-household customer and asset data
  • Match records to trusted external data sources
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies using online research or internal/external communication
  • Update core systems with validated information
  • Record outcomes clearly and categorise findings appropriately
  • Escalate risks or issues that may impact targets or deadlines
  • Prioritise workload in line with set criteria
  • Use Microsoft tools confidently as part of daily work

  • Confident recording and categorising datasets
  • Experience updating business or operational systems
  • Clear communication skills for querying or clarifying information
  • Ability to work to performance targets
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office tools
