ICT Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Medway on a maternity cover basis, starting January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a forward-thinking department that values creativity, innovation, and digital literacy.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective ICT lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage and support all learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related subject.
• Experience teaching ICT at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
