About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school community on a maternity cover basis, starting January. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students in the ever-evolving world of Information and Communication Technology.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students develop essential digital skills for the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic ICT lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the ICT curriculum and share best practices.
• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience teaching ICT at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
