About the Role
We are supporting a leading Public Sector organisation in South Wales seeking an experienced Interim IT Category Manager with a strong background in IT Procurement. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver real value, streamline procurement processes, and make a tangible impact across estates and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead competitive, flexible procurement procedures for medium to high-value contracts.
- Develop and implement a catering strategy as well as operating on BAU tasks:
- Consolidate suppliers.
- Drive efficiency.
- Enhance stakeholder experience.
- Ensure compliance with Public Sector procurement regulations and best practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to deliver cost-effective and innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Category Management within IT Procurement.
- Strong knowledge of Public Sector procurement processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
