IT Procurement Manager
A large public-service broadcaster is seeking a IT Procurement Manager to join the team and take ownership of a pipeline of category projects, working in a regulated environment where transparency, value, and governance truly matter.
Ideally you will have IT Procurement experience in one of the following fields - Identity Access Management (IDAM), SaaS, Hardware, Software or Systems Integration.
What you’ll do
As a Commercial Procurement Manager, you will:
Partner & Influence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across your categories of spend.
- Support and influence annual category planning through data-driven insights, reports and strategic presentations.
Lead Procurement Projects
- Deliver end-to-end procurement projects — on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead junior team members across a defined project pipeline, providing support and guidance.
- Identify risks and escalate appropriately to ensure smooth delivery.
Drive Commercial Strategy
- Analyse market trends and spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies aligned with BBC objectives.
- Work collaboratively with suppliers to drive innovation and performance improvements.
Governance & Compliance
- Own and navigate approval routes, ensuring compliance with policies and public procurement regulations.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships while ensuring adherence to ethical standards.
- Monitor procurement performance metrics and champion continuous improvement.

Knowledge & Experience
- Strong understanding of procurement processes in a regulated environment.
- Experience using procurement software and tools.
- Proven track record of delivering cost optimisation and managing supplier/contract performance.
- Ability to work across multiple categories.
- Analytical capability to interpret data and market trends into actionable insights.
