IT Project Manager
An IT Project Manager is required for our client based in Huddersfield for an initial 4-month contract. The successful candidate will be required to have some onsite presence and will be required to go on site for a full week during the UAT phase, therefore please only apply if you can commit to this.
The IT Project Manager is required to complete a system implementation our client is currently undergoing. Successful candidates must have system implementation experience, within a public sector setting, preferably within housing (but not mandatory).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Continue the implementation of a new system in our clients property services area.
- Review current build status and service readiness and contribute to a revised project plan appropriately.
- Review budget forecasts and advise requirements based on project plan revisions.
- Manage the external contractor alongside internal IT colleagues and ensure efficient progress is made.
- Manage internal relationships with service leads to ensure service readiness for adoption.
Skills for IT Project Manager:
- Strong project management experience, preferably within an IT function.
- Experience in Total Connect or similar systems.
- Understanding of data and reporting.
- Experience within public sector governance (preferable but not essential).
- Ability to coordinate contractor & internal relationships.
- Experience of managing budgets.
