IT Support Engineer
IT EngineerNorwich (5 Days on site) Salary: £27,500 – £39,000 (DOE)
REED Technology are working with a well-established organisation based in Norwich who are looking to recruit an experienced IT Engineer to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled and customer-focused individual to support a diverse range of IT systems across commercial, governmental, and educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure hardware, operating systems, and applications
 - Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
 - Provide face-to-face and remote support to users
 - Diagnose and resolve hardware/software faults
 - Replace components and support application rollouts
 - Set up user accounts and manage password issues
 - Respond to call-outs within agreed timeframes
 - Maintain documentation and produce relevant reports
 - Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
 - Test and evaluate new technologies
 - Carry out other duties as directed by senior staff
 
Skills & Experience:
- Commercial experience in IT support
 - Strong customer service and communication skills
 - Full, clean UK driving licence
 - Proficiency in Windows, Server OS, Microsoft Exchange (SMTP, POP3, IMAP)
 - Working knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP, IP Routing, DNS, DHCP
 - Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
 - Ability to pass a DBS check
 - MCSE and/or CCNA certification (desirable)
