Part-Time Business Support Officer – 6-Month Contract
Location: Rochdale Council Pay Rate: £14.82 per hour (PAYE)Hours: 29.6 per week (across 4 or 5 days)
Rochdale Council is seeking a confident and motivated Part-Time Business Support Officer to join the ICT Department for a 6-month temporary assignment. This role is ideal for someone who delivers exceptional customer service, is highly organised, and enjoys being part of a friendly, supportive team.
About the Role
As a Business Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the ICT department, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support. You’ll be joining a small but dynamic team that prides itself on professionalism, teamwork, and consistently high standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Has experience in administrative support and financial processes—experience using Civica Financials is desirable.

- Can manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to meet service needs.
- Takes pride in their work and maintains consistently high personal standards.
