We are seeking a Power BI Analyst who is passionate about transforming raw data into meaningful insights that power business performance. Based in our newly refurbished, character-filled Cheshire office, complete with ad-hoc work from home flexibility, you'll play a key role in shaping the way information is understood across the business.

Day-to-day of the role:

Power BI Development & Reporting (Core Focus)

  • Build, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports across multiple business functions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into intuitive, user-friendly dashboards.
  • Handle queries from internal systems to produce accurate, timely data outputs.
  • Continuously improve and optimise existing dashboards for performance, clarity, and business value.
  • Deliver end-user training and documentation to maximise adoption and understanding of Power BI solutions.

System & Process Improvement

  • Support small-scale enhancements to internal systems to improve data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with software suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues that impact data or reporting.
  • Assist with system-related projects that enhance business processes and streamline reporting workflows.

Light IT Administration (Secondary Responsibility)

  • Process IT-related changes for new starters, leavers, and access/profile updates (minimal workload).
  • Support the IT Manager/Applications Manager with basic system maintenance tasks where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience improving reporting processes and enhancing business systems.
  • Confident communicator able to build relationships across all departments.
  • Someone proactive, curious, and committed to professional development.
