Our client is looking for a Power Platform Developer responsible for developing, supporting, and enhancing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. This role involves building robust, scalable applications and automating business processes, as well as providing system administration support.
Day-to-day of the role:- Design and develop new Power Platform solutions, including model-driven and canvas Power Apps, Power Automate flows, custom connectors, and Power BI integrations.
- Build and maintain custom components such as Power Platform plugins using C#.NET to meet complex business requirements.
- Provide first-line support for Power Platform incidents and issues, resolving problems and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
- Manage Power Platform environments and configurations to ensure reliable and performant operations across development, testing, and production.
- Maintain secure access to Power Platform solutions by administering roles, permissions, and data policies.
- Ensure correct Power Platform licensing and monitor service consumption to align with business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritise enhancements, and propose technical solutions that improve business processes.
- Coordinate with external partners as needed to deliver solutions or support advanced development initiatives.
- Deliver training and documentation to ensure successful adoption of solutions, working in conjunction with the Learning & Development team.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes, configurations, and policies.
- Promote and champion the Power Platform across the business, demonstrating its value and capabilities through successful delivery.
- Demonstrated experience designing and building applications using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong skills in business process automation using Power Automate.
- Proficiency in C#.NET for custom development (e.g., Power Platform plugins, custom APIs).
- Previous experience working in IT support or business systems environments.
- Desirable: Microsoft Power Platform certifications or willingness to obtain, experience with Microsoft Dataverse, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps, familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript, understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and application lifecycle management within Power Platform.
