We are expanding our PMO function and seeking a Project Coordinator to provide essential operational, financial, and project management support across multiple high-value programmes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical, fast-paced environments and enjoys creating structure and process.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Project Coordination & PMO Support:

    • Support governance and coordination of high-value telecom and infrastructure projects.
    • Maintain project plans, trackers, RAID logs, and action lists.
    • Prepare documentation, meeting notes, stakeholder packs, and status updates.
    • Liaise with consultants, engineers, and partner organisations.
  • Operational Support:

    • Arrange meetings, workshops, site visits, and events.
    • Manage travel and accommodation bookings.
    • Verify engineer qualifications and certifications.
    • Support Project Managers with documentation and admin.
  • Financial Coordination & Cost Control:

    • Prepare project cost breakdowns and budget tracking.
    • Review and process supplier invoices.
    • Raise and reconcile Purchase Orders.
    • Produce Excel-based reports using formulas (SUMIF, LOOKUP, pivot tables).
    • Ensure financial data accuracy.
  • Supplier & Partner Coordination:

    • Liaise with suppliers to order materials, labour, and equipment.
    • Maintain productive relationships with partner organisations.
  • Project Site & Team Support:

    • Conduct periodic site visits to support staff welfare and understand project progress.
    • Identify risks, gaps, and operational issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Project Coordinator, PMO Assistant, or EA in project-heavy environments.
  • Skilled in manual admin and Excel (formulas, data checking, reconciliation).
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and good under pressure.
  • Strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving.
  • Proactive and eager to learn how projects are created and governed.
