Technical Service Advisor – Permanent Opportunity

Shepshed | Office-Based with Occasional Site Work

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm | Salary: £31,000

We’re supporting the recruitment of a Technical Service Advisor to join a growing team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong engineering knowledge and a passion for customer service to step into a varied and rewarding role.

You’ll be working closely with colleagues across all levels of the organisation, providing expert technical advice to distributors, internal staff, and end users.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver effective technical support via phone to distributors and end users

Support internal and external sales teams with technical queries

Diagnose and resolve engineering-related issues

Investigate and respond to customer queries and complaints

Process warranty returns in line with company procedures

Occasionally carry out external repairs and servicing

Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by the Customer Service Manager

Perform other reasonable tasks as required

What We’re Looking For

Broad technical knowledge, ideally with an engineering background with ideally knowledge of compressor, conveyors and good mechanical knowledge

Previous customer service experience, including direct interaction via phone or face-to-face

Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows

A clean UK driving licence

Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude
