Data Migrations Specialist

Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading IT organisation to recruit a Data Migration Specialist on a contract basis. OUTside IR35. Hybrid working - London based.

Role* The Data Migration Specialist will plan, manage, and execute data migrations, ensuring smooth transitions between systems.* Lead migrations for Google Workspace and Slack, including user accounts, mailboxes, channels, files, and integrations.* Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, map data flows, and validate migration outcomes.* Develop and implement scripts and automation to streamline migration processes.* Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during migration, ensuring minimal disruption.* Keep up-to-date with cloud collaboration platforms and migration tools, ensuring best practices are followed.

Profile* Strong experience in Google Workspace and Slack migrations is essential.* Proficient in scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible is a plus).* Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS solutions.* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.* Strong communication and collaboration abilities, able to work effectively with IT and business teams.
