Head of IT - London Hybrid (3 days in office) - £100k-£110k

Robert Half are working with a fast-growing professional services firm who are looking for a Head of IT to lead its technology strategy, cyber posture, data capabilities and service delivery. This is a high-impact role, shaping a modern Microsoft-based environment and building a small, high-performing internal team alongside managed partners.

The role

• Own the IT strategy, roadmap and budget.
• Lead governance across cyber, risk, data protection and change.
• Drive platform direction across Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Dynamics 365, Business Central and Power Platform.
• Strengthen cybersecurity controls and resilience using Microsoft's security stack.
• Manage MSPs, SLAs and vendor performance; ensure value and cost optimisation.
• Build and develop a capable engineering/service team.

About you

• Experienced IT leader in a regulated or professional services environment.
• Strong vendor/MSP management and service governance experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of Dynamics 365 and/or Business Central.
• Background in data platforms, reporting and governance (Power BI/Fabric ideal).
• Confident communicator and pragmatic moderniser with a strong security mindset.
