Infrastructure Engineer
Exciting opportunity to join a growing business as their Infrastructure Engineer working on exciting infrastructure, network and IT security projects, offering circa £50,000 plus excellent benefits, based at their rural Cotswolds location.
The role
As Infrastructure Engineer, you'll take the lead on exciting projects as well as maintain business as usual infrastructure, networks and security. Responsibilities will include:
- maintain and develop the existing IT infrastructure (onprem and virtual environments)
- manage projects including upgrades, cloud migrations etc.
- work closely with and manage / coordinate 3rd party vendors
- maintain performance of core systems and infrastructure (network, servers, storage, firewalls)
- ensure compliance to various frameworks and governance as well as documentation
- develop and improve cyber security posture (endpoint, threat detection, incident response etc.)
About you
Applicants for the Infrastructure Engineer role will have:
- strong experience gained in a similar infrastructure position, with broad skills across server support/maintenance, physical and virtual environments, networking (e.g. LAN/WAN, firewalls, switching, routing etc.)
- strong knowledge of M365 products and support (Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, Azure)
- experience of IT / cyber security tools and processes (e.g. cloud security, compliance frameworks)
- flexibility to travel and work across multiple sites locally
On offer
Salary of circa £50,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits and opportunity to lead on exciting projects. Note this is a fully office based position.
