Embedded Software Engineer | Salisbury | £45,000 DOE

As an Embedded Software Engineer for this well-established manufacturer, you’ll be joining a growing design team developing products across diverse industries. This opportunity offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to see your designs come to life in the UK and international facilities.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will benefit from:

• 22 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing by one every year)

As an Embedded Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing product specifications and proposing software solutions
• Designing and developing embedded software in C
• Creating application and test software
• Ensuring products meet specifications and industry standards
• Supporting the transition of products into manufacturing

As an Embedded Software Engineer, your experience will include:

• Embedded C, Embedded Linux, and RTOS.
• Hardware-level interaction with 32-bit microcontrollers and microprocessors
• Debugging and testing embedded systems
• Familiarity with communications protocols and GUI packages.
• Use of development tools like Yocto, GitLab CI/CD, and LabView
