Our client is a leading provider of technology solutions serving enterprise customers across financial and professional services. As they continue to expand internationally, they are seeking an experienced Global Business Development Director to lead commercial growth and strategic customer engagement across key markets.
RoleAs Global Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding relationships with enterprise clients worldwide. You’ll lead on developing commercial strategies, identifying market opportunities, and executing initiatives that deliver sustainable revenue growth. This hybrid role is based in Surrey.
Responsibilities- Identify and capitalise on global growth opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring optimal profitability and strategic alignment.
- Oversee accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting of key performance indicators.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver cohesive go-to-market plans.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the business at industry events, client forums, and executive meetings.
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in global business development, enterprise sales, or strategic account leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven, adaptable, and strategic, with a focus on long-term value creation.
- Track record in GTM/ expansion into new territories e.g APAC,
- Experience in financial services or fintech SaaS is advantageous but not essential.
