My client is a growing and well-established IT solutions provider, delivering end-to-end technology services including infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, hardware/software, and managed services.

They are now looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager to drive new business growth while managing and expanding existing client relationships.

The Role

This is a hybrid new business and account management role suited to a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building long-term client partnerships as much as winning new logos.

You’ll be responsible for developing a strong pipeline, closing new opportunities, and growing revenue across a portfolio of accounts, working closely with technical and delivery teams to provide tailored IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Win new business across the UK IT solutions and services market
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through upsell and cross-sell
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline from lead to close
  • Conduct client meetings, account reviews, and solution presentations
  • Identify customer needs and position appropriate IT solutions
  • Negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts
  • Accurately update CRM and sales reports

What They’re Looking For

  • Proven B2B sales experience within IT solutions, managed services, or technology sales
  • Experience in both new business development and account management
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially astute with a track record of closing deals
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Full UK driving licence
