My client is a growing and well-established IT solutions provider, delivering end-to-end technology services including infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, hardware/software, and managed services.
They are now looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager to drive new business growth while managing and expanding existing client relationships.
The Role
This is a hybrid new business and account management role suited to a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building long-term client partnerships as much as winning new logos.
You’ll be responsible for developing a strong pipeline, closing new opportunities, and growing revenue across a portfolio of accounts, working closely with technical and delivery teams to provide tailored IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Win new business across the UK IT solutions and services market
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through upsell and cross-sell
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline from lead to close
- Conduct client meetings, account reviews, and solution presentations
- Identify customer needs and position appropriate IT solutions
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts
- Accurately update CRM and sales reports
What They’re Looking For
- Proven B2B sales experience within IT solutions, managed services, or technology sales
- Experience in both new business development and account management
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Commercially astute with a track record of closing deals
- Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Full UK driving licence
