We are seeking a Senior Insight Analyst to play a key role in driving data-led decision-making across the business. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple functions, from operations and logistics to e-commerce and finance, providing valuable insights that directly influence performance and strategy.

The Role
As Senior Insight Analyst, you will act as a trusted data partner to stakeholders at all levels. You'll move beyond simply reporting numbers, instead uncovering trends, identifying opportunities, and presenting findings in a clear, compelling way. You'll also play a part in educating colleagues on data literacy, helping to embed a culture of evidence-based decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders across departments to provide meaningful analysis and insights.
Proactively explore datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
Translate data into actionable recommendations through clear storytelling and visualisation.
Support financial planning and analysis with accurate data and reporting.
Champion best practice in data use, helping teams better understand and interpret reports.
Use SQL, Python, and BI tools to query, analyse, and visualise complex datasets.

Skills & Experience
Proficiency in SQL and Excel; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Familiarity with Python (pandas, numpy) for advanced analysis and automation.
Previous experience in a data or BI analyst role, ideally within a wholesale or distribution environment.
Knowledge of ERP systems, Salesforce, or Google Analytics is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to distil complex data into clear insights.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate non-technical audiences.
Proactive, adaptable, and confident managing multiple priorities.
