The HR Analyst supports the HR Systems & Analytics team in delivering accurate, high-quality HR data, maintaining and improving HR systems, and providing analytics to inform business decisions. The role involves hands-on work with data, systems, and reporting, contributing to HR digital transformation projects and supporting the Senior Analyst and wider team.

Data Governance & Quality
- Carry out data profiling, validation, and cleansing activities to support data quality initiatives.
- Assist with data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation for system migrations and upgrades.
- Apply and maintain data validation and business rules to ensure data accuracy and auditability.
Integrations and Data Flow
- Support the development, testing, and enhancement of HR system integrations and data flows.
- Troubleshoot data and system issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and support integration projects.
Analytics, MI & Self Service Intelligence
- Build advanced executive ready Power BI dashboards, data models, and self-service data sets, and scheduled reporting to deliver business insights and support business decision making.
- Translate complex workforce data into clear narratives, translating information and insights for stakeholders.
- Create automated monitoring dashboards for data quality KPIs and governance compliance.
- Monitor data quality KPI’s and compliance metrics, supporting continuous improvement.
AI, Automation & Agentic Agents
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of automation opportunities within HR operations.
- Support the adoption of AI-driven tools and workflows as directed by senior team members.
Data Governance, Controls & Compliance
- Work in partnership with the data governance team to embed data dictionaries, standards, and quality KPIs for Core HR and organisational structures.
- Ensure GDPR/DPIA compliance and support audit readiness and remediate data integrity issues.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Respond to data and reporting queries from HR and business stakeholders.
- Participate in workshops, demos, and training sessions to build knowledge and support team initiatives.
- Work closely with the Senior Analyst and other team members to deliver high-quality analytics and system improvements.
What you will need
- Proficient in SQL, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.
- Experience with HR data structures and HRIS systems.
- Understanding of data integration and automation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting stakeholders.
- Experience in governance or compliance-focused environments.
- Data governance: KPI dictionaries, data quality rules, lineage and data stewardship practices.
- Degree in Data Science, Analytics, HR Management, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in HR analytics or technology.
- Evidence of continual professional development in data engineering / analytics or HR technology.
- Willing to work towards recognised Oracle / other data certifications.
We would prefer if you had relevant industry experience. However, if you don’t have all the qualifications, but think you have other applicable experience that would make you a good fit for the role, we would still love to hear from you.
