Senior Full Stack Engineer

SR2 are currently looking for a experienced Senior Software Engineer for a fast-growing AI start-up in London.

• Location: Central London (3 days a week onsite).
• Salary: £70,000 - 80,000.

Your Role:

• Building and maintaining features across the backend (Python, Java or NodeJS).
• Working across all three cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying applications in a cloud environment.
• Work closely with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain back-end services and systems that support AI-powered products, all whilst meeting tight deadlines.
• Designing, developing, and deploying scalable APIs.
• Contributing to system architecture and technical strategy.
• Writing, testing, and shipping high-quality production code.
• Participating in code reviews and improving engineering processes.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and techniques to improve back-end infrastructure and processes.

Ideal Candidate:

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in back-end development or related field, with a focus on server-side technologies.
• Experience in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment, focusing on building and scaling back-end systems.
• Understanding of security best practices for back-end development.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and the ability to collaborate with data scientists to optimize AI models.
